Looking on the internet we found a 'ruin' in Northern Cyprus on the Donaghy & Beyler web site. We were in Australia at the time and were concerned about buying over the internet or even getting involved in any deals from so far away! However, we thought there was no harm in an email to discuss the proposition. From the first email Neil was just great. No questions were too much trouble no answers were avoided. When Neil was away Steve took over the corrospondence. Between the two a programme was put forward that made it possible to purchase the 'ruin'. Such trust and belief had been established that soon a deposit was sent. We had never done anything like this before.

It was about 6 weeks before we could get over to Cyprus to veiw our 'ruin' and meet the Donaghy and Beyler team. Nervously we arrived wondering what was in store for us.Neil could not have been more helpful nor kinder than he was. Nothing was too much trouble for him nor for the team in the office. We viewed the 'ruin' and went ahead with the purchase. D and B were there every step of the way, explaining things, finding out what needed to be found out, supporting us at our Advocates, you name it Neil did it.

Having made a sudden decision to live Northern Cyprus, we found ourselves out here within 2 months of making that decision.  We made a rough plan and thought we would just come out here and see what happens.  I was very nervous and the change was huge so my emotions were all over the place!  Then we met Gönül at Donaghy & Beyler. She guided us as to what sorts of properties would be suitable for us and we looked at some of them.  We were given information, not just relating to buying property but to other things that as a stranger here, was really comforting and refreshing for me.  Gönül helped us as much as she possibly could with advice and with viewings on property and all the running around that goes with getting things done.  She handled everything in a very professional and friendly manner.  Within no time at all, we saw a flat that we really liked and put in an offer.  Within 3 weeks, we were ready to move in.  It really was as simple as that and with no problems at all.  Donaghy & Beyler sorted out all the paperwork and were very efficient in doing so.  We have now settled down very nicely in our flat in Kyrenia and enjoying living in Northern Cyprus

We would like to record our satisfaction at the high level of service provided by the staff at Donaghy and Beyler, Particularly Lindsay whose friendly manner and professional approach managed to make the purchase of our property in N Cyprus flow with relative ease.We had travelled out to North Cyprus last summer independently to search for a property, visiting several estate agents. We received a very warm welcome from Lindsay on walking through the door of Donaghy and Beyler. She listened carefully to our requirements and made immediate arrangements to view properties that exactly fitted our specifications and price. It took us only a short time to find our property with her.However our real thanks are reserved for the support she has offered since this point – liaising with the builder and updating us regularly by e- mail. She has also offered invaluable advice on services and suppliers. As non- residents it is her willingness to explain the local way of doing things which has allayed our anxieties and helped us through the many tasks connected with buying a new property in a distant country. We have really appreciated this follow through.We are now looking forward to completing our purchase over the next few months and look forward to enjoying quality time in our own home on beautiful N Cyprus.

I have recently decided to invest in a plot of land in TRNC.  My requirements were quite specific and after much research I knew exactly what I wanted and the potential pitfalls that can be associated with this type of venture.
 
I was extremely apprehensive on my initial enquiry with all the estate agents I contacted.  The competition for real estate on the island is fierce with estate agents 'Popping Up All Over The Place' so naturally one can get overloaded with inaccurate information
 
After I  contacted Neil Kelly I became instantly aware of his friendly approach with a no frills or exaggeration of the facts attitude concerning land and property.  Neil was completely aware of my exact requirement. Sales people can often be over the top and pushy, Neil seems to have the ability to be extremely efficient without displaying some of the poorer qualities mentioned.
 
I have always been of the firm believer that 'People Buy People'.  Neil portrayed himself as a honest and knowledgeable sales man.  His attitude towards me was outstanding at all times.  I actually looked at 3 different plots all with different estate agents and decided to continue with Neil.
 
I appreciate it is early days yet concerning our project but I feel completely confident with Neil's sound advise and accurate information. 
I believe he is a real asset to your company and an extremely professional member of your sales force. 
 
If my project proceeds without any major set backs I will be posting my positive points and satisfaction with your company on the various websites that encourage people to highlight there experiences on purchasing property or land on the Island.

We would like to thank Lindsay for all time and effort she has put in on our behalf this year.

We must say that she was very patient as we took so much time at each and eventually returning to some locations before making final decisions.

We are very impressed with the relationship she has with the builder whom we have chosen. Not only have we seen the quality of his work from houses that he has built but we have had a grand tour of his own “mansion”. This is very important because it increases our confidence in the agent and builder and helps us sleep easier at night.

Lindsay once said “you relax, it is my job to do the worrying.”

I know that Lindsay has had regular meetings with the builder to ensure that everything is being done the way we want it. And it is also good when someone volunteers to arrange hotels and airport taxis for you.

Another important issue is communication. We are very pleased how easy it is to phone and speak to anyone in your company in English - without having to be concerned about things being lost in translation – and the speed with which emails are answered.

At the moment our house is half way there and we expect completion in April – so we are very happy with the progress made since May this year.
